Today I will be showing you how to share or transfer airtime / credit to anyone on MTN, Globacom, Airtel and Etisalat Lines

How to Transfer Airtime on MTN Network
To transfer credit on MTN network you will first need to activate the service by creating a secret / transfer pin, this pin will be required anytime you want transfer airtime from your MTN line. If you already have a PIN you can skip this step.
How to Change Your Airtime Transfer Pin on MTN from Default
The default pin is 0000, you can change your pin through USSD or SMS.
How to change your pin through SMS
Send 0000 NewPIN NewPIN to 777 via SMS. For example if choose to use 1234 as your pin you will send 0000 1234 1234 to 777
– The 0000 in the command is your default pin,
– The 1234 in the command is your new pin,
– The repeated 1234 is for new pin confirmation.
You can change the 1234 in the code above to any code that suits you. If entered correctly, you will receive a message that your pin has been successfully changed.
How to change your pin via USSD
To change your transfer pin via USSD, dial *601* default/old PIN* New PIN* New PIN# and send. For example, if you want to change your pin from default to 1122, you will dial *601*0000*1122*1122#. If entered correctly, you will receive a message that your pin has been changed successfully.
After changing your PIN you can then transfer airtime/credit anytime you want. You can transfer airtime from MTN to MTN through SMS or USSD.
How to transfer credit on MTN via SMS
To transfer airtime send Recipient’s Number Amount PIN to 777 as text message
For example to transfer 200 Naira airtime to 08033333333 and your transfer pin is 1234
Type 08033333333 200 1234 and send it to 777
How To transfer Airtime on MTN via USSD.
To transfer credit on MTN through USSD:
Dial *600*Recipient’s phone number*Amount*PIN#
For example to transfer 200 Naira airtime to 08033333333 and your transfer pin is 1234 Dial*600*08033333333*200*1234#
If successful, you will receive a text message confirming successful your transfer.
How to Transfer Airtime on Glo
To transfer airtime on Globacom network you will need to activate the service by creating your ME2U pin. If you already have a pin, you don’t need to do this
To change/create your Glo ME2U transfer pin:
Dial *132*00000*New Pin*New Pin#
For example, if you want your new pin to be 11122 dial *132*00000*11122*11122#
Subsequently, you can change your pin by dialing *132*Old Pin*New Pin*New Pin#
To transfer credit from Glo to Glo,
Dial *131*Recipients phone number*Amount*Pin# then send.
For example to send 500 to 08055555555 and your pin is 11122 dial *131*08055555555*500*11122#.
Once you send the command, you will receive a confirmation message asking you to confirm by pressing 1 and press 2 to cancel.
How to Transfer Airtime on Airtel Network
“Me2U” is airtime transfer service that is designed to enable subscriber share airtime (credit) on their Airtel lines with their friends and families, also on Airtel lines as frequently as they desire to do so, irrespective of location and time.
To transfer Airtime on Airtel line
Send a text message: 2u [space] [space] [space] to 432
E.g, to transfer N50 worth of airtime to subscriber 08021234567, compose text:
2u 08021234567 50 1234
and send to 432
You and the recipient will receive an SMS confirmation.
To change your airtime transfer pin/password on airtel
Send a text message in the following format to 432: PIN[space] [space]
E.g, to change password to 4321, the text sent will read – PIN 1234 4321 .
You will then receive an SMS confirmation from 432. You will need to change your password from the default before trying to transfer. SMS charge of N10 per transaction applies.
How to Transfer Airtime on Etisalat Network
Etisalat Easy Airtime Transfer allows subscribers on the Etisalat network to electronically transfer airtime from the existing credit on their prepaid account to another prepaid account. You have to activate the service by setting up your transfer pin. You can skip this step if you aready done that. The default pin / password is 0000.
How to change Airtime Transfer Pin / Password on Etisalat
To change your airtime transfer pin on etisalat
Dial: *247*0000*New Pin#
For example to change your pin to 1122 dial *247*0000*1122#
How to Transfer Credit on Etisalat Network
After setting up your pin, you can transfer or send airtime on Etisalt by dialing *223*Password*Amount*Phone Number#
For example to transfer N200 to subscriber 08099999999, dial *223*1122*200*08099999999#
You can also transfer airtime on Etisalat line through the Etisalat service menu.
– Click on the Etisalat service icon on your phone,
– Click on Balance transfer,
– a security code box will appear requesting for your pin.
– enter the amount you wish to transfer
– enter receipient’s number and send
You can also change your default pin from the service menu.
Note: The service charge is N10 Naira, you must have at least 10 Naira balance remaining after subtracting the amount you wish to transfer for the airtime transfer to work.
